We worked on 100s of small improvements and bug fixes.
And wrote over 10,000 lines of code.
To round up the year, we thought we'd run through the 11 most popular launches we released in 2023.

Improved Emoji Picker 🌎
This is one of those small improvements that can make all the difference.
We added autocomplete functionality for emojis and a frequently used picker. Finding the right emoji has never been easier in Buffer.
New channels & channel features
Throughout 2023, Mastodon went though an explosive phase of growth, so we were quickly added it as a channel.
With Buffer you can schedule content to Mastodon at the optimal time to reach more people in the community. It’s free, easy-to-use, and you can cross-post content to other social networks, too. 3,500 Buffer customers post to Mastodon every month.
We were one of the first platforms to offer this game-changing feature. As avid Instagram users ourselves, we know firsthand the growing impact of Instagram Stories.
With Buffer, you can now fully schedule all your Instagram Stories (without the need for Reminders).

50 billion views. That's how many YouTube Shorts are watched each day. It's no surprise we rushed to launch full Shorts scheduling as soon as it became available.
With Buffer, you can plan, schedule, and auto publish your Shorts directly to YouTube. 9,383 Buffer users connected their YouTube account within 28 days of us launching this feature.
Connect your Instagram Creator account ✍️
Now, you can use Buffer for both your Business and Creator Instagram accounts. making it even easier to manage all of your accounts in one place.
With 2.9 billion active users, Facebook is the most popular social network of them all and short-form video is the hottest content format on the block. So Reels scheduling was an inevitable addition.
LinkedIn Documents (aka PDF Carousel) 🎠
This feature is designed to significantly increase your content's visibility and audience interaction. You can create engaging document carousels by uploading PDFs directly to your LinkedIn channel through Buffer.
